PRODUCT TECHNICIAN

We are excited to offer experienced Production Technicians from within the pharmaceutical/food production industries the opportunity to join Australia’s leading producer of bio based and biodegradable plastic.

Working at our world class facility in Lake Macquarie, the role is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of cutting-edge manufacturing equipment. You will comply with the latest safety and quality standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.

Duties will include machine operation within a manufacturing plant, liaising with Management and administration staff, monitoring and reporting on stock movement, picking and packing as well as the movement of materials using a forklift. On-site training will be provided.

Please note that Forklift Experience, while valued, is not essential for manufacturing staff.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience within a Manufacturing Plant
Technical abilities highly desired, including reading and understanding basic Engineering drawings
Strong English written and verbal communication skills
Excellent safety knowledge

This position will ideally suit individuals who are looking to secure a senior position within a leading edge scientific institution. Applicants must be able to pass a numerical and mechanical reasoning test as part of the selection process.
