MACHINE OPERATOR

We currently have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic machine operators to join Australia’s leading producer of bio based and biodegradable plastic.

Working at our world class facility in Lake Macquarie, the role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cutting-edge manufacturing equipment. You will be trained in the policies, procedures, work instructions and tools specific to your role and comply with the latest safety and quality standards.

Duties will include setting up, operating and managing the packaging machines used in the manufacturing process, cleaning and maintaining equipment in good operational order and adhering to established safety procedures and protocols.

Please note that this position is physically demanding and requires the applicant to be physically able to lift up to 20kg safely and handle a variety of tasks in a fast paced production environment.

What we’re looking for

Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a busy manufacturing environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent safety knowledge
Previous experience within a Manufacturing Plant is highly desired but not essential
